Ideally suited for use with scythes.
Simply press it into the ground, so you can peening a scythe blade on site if necessary.
The flat field peening anvil from Rinaldi is used for scythe blades.
The peening anvil is used together with the narrow side ( the fin ) of a hammer. e.g. our articles 1355 or 2409
When scythe blade is hammered with this flat anvil, the scythe blade is worked over the anvil with the hamlet pointing upwards.
Here, the fin of the hammer forms the scythe blade cutting edge (scythe).
Please clean the scythe blades before scythe.
