Peening anvil pointed No. 101 by Picard for scythe blades
This anvil is also used for peening.
Here you use the flat side of a hammer, e.g. our article number 1821 or 2408
In this type of scythe, the scythe blade is guided over the narrow anvil with the hamper pointing downwards.
The shape of the anvil helps a lot to achieve a targeted deformation of the anvil over the thin anvil surface controlled.
Please clean your scythe blade before scythe
We recommend wearing hearing protection when peening, e.g. our article 2213.
