Description
handle length approx. 170 cm
Hay rakes with bent tines are especially advantageous in steep terrain, as the rake can be pulled onto the ground without plucking, springing and snathing back.
The handle is made of lime wood and this type of wood has proven itself for centuries. It is light and stable, elastic, flexible and break-resistant, it does not slate, it does not warp, and it becomes smooth in the hand.
The rake tines, patented in 1978, are made of high-quality nylon ( polyamide PA).
Lofer rake handles are fabricated 2 times:
The taper at the end of the hand causes increased stability of the handle and better handling in use. The handle cannot slip, as the taper triggers a hand reflex during use. In contrast, co-rotating handles are easier to produce, but this shape has proven itself over centuries in use due to its advantages.
Lofer rakes are supplied with a handle, which you simply screw in place with the supplied screw.
